September 8, 2019, USS Olympia (SSN 7171) is welcomed home to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam after successfully supporting maritime security operations with allies and partners all over the globe.

Commissioned 17 November 1984, the nuclear powered USS Olympia is 362 ft (110 m) in length, has a crew complement of 129, and has an unofficial submerged top speed in excess of 35 knots!

A total of 62 Los Angeles-class were constructed, with 32 in active service.
