With manual TMA you can also use the periscope to get an better idea of the target angle.

In the second part of my new series focusing on the submarine simulation, Fast Attack High Tech Warfare I play the second mission of the campaign. In it I captain the USS Pittsburgh and attempt to stop Iran from using a fast Guided Missile Frigate and a Missile Boat to blockade the Persian Gulf and the worlds oil supplies.
